A very quaint jug from the Ball's pottery of Sunderland, featuring the classic transfer of Jack Crawford nailing the colours to the mast, using a spike, in the Battle of Camperdown. A maritime ditty - The Sailor Boy- on the reverse. Glorious.

Approx - 4.25 inches (110mm) tall.
In fair, original condition, unrestored with faded lustre, staining and various chips and scuffs
